Women's security is deteriorating in Afghanistan, in particular in rural areas.  However, people support the transfer of leadership to the Afghan Security Forces (ASF). But, ASF needs long-term international support and assistance.

Those are the key findings of research done by APPRO (Afghanistan Public Policy Research Organization)  for AWN (Afghan Women’s Network) and CORDAID, Dutch NGO and member of ENNA.
